What is the link to ParetoLogic's FTP site to download the malware to check my AV (Intego VirusBarrier) detects this?

Also why do you post info on Mac viruses when none of your products work on a Mac?

Hi there,

We only share the FTP access with other security companies (for obvious reasons).

I'd suggest you contact Intego directly and ask them that same question.

Why do I write about Mac viruses?

To me, malware is malware, doesn't matter which platform.
Oddly enough, I don't own a Mac (I use other tricks to get my information).

If a generous soul out there wants to donate a Mac, that'd be great :-)

VirusBarrier detects it as RSPlug.O

Today, there's a new variant in the wild: RSPlug.P.
