Default Got Spam?

As you know email spam is getting to be a bigger problem everyday. Not only is it really annoying, clogging our mailboxes, but it can also be dangerous.
It goes from phishing scams to malicious links etc...

I'd like to do a little experiment (which by the way you should not try unless you know what you're doing).

I am posting my email address for all spammers and their robots to get. This is a freshly created email account:

iwantyourspamz@gmail.com

Obviously this doesn't look like my regular email address... I named it after a controversial George Michael song: 'I Want Your Sex'.

I expect this inbox to get filled with junk pretty soon. And yes, sometimes someone's junk can be somebody else's treasure... At least that's how I like to think. :-)

This is a very interesting experiment indeed!

I've done a similar one in the past to try and teach my spam filter examples of spam, so that I can build an accurate profile month by month. It worked surprisingly well, as my own e-mail account appears on the net in several places.

Would you post the results once you've got a months worth of data please? I'm intrigued to see how much this generates I've subscribed to this thread
