A ParetoLogic initiative from our family to yours!

In response to the escalating risks to children using the Internet, ParetoLogic felt compelled to contribute its expertise and skills to making the Internet a safer place for kids. Recognizing that many kids are more sophisticated computer users than their parents, we set out to create a comprehensive program that enabled kids to share their experiences and knowledge while providing parents with a tool that would allow them to customize their family's Internet searches in a way that was compatible with their values.

Having realized phenomenal success with our other online safety products, ParetoLogic wanted to give back to the community with a software program, online resource, and companion website that was free of charge and free from commercialization.

Announcing PGsurfer

After many months of hard work, relentless research, and long, long nights on the part of each member of our staff, ParetoLogic is proud to announce the unveiling of ParetoLogic PGsurfer, a premium parental control software, that is fully customizable, easy to use, and completely free of charge! Knowing that parents need information and support as much as they need tools to protect their family, ParetoLogic created and supports the PGsurfer Forums to allow all parents, caregivers, and educators the opportunity to ask questions, share information, and find the resources they need.

And its companion website for kids: SafeSurfer

Harnessing the awesome knowledge and experience base offered by youth, we are also pleased to announce SafeSurfer, a brand new website for kids (adults might want to check it out too!) devoted to teaching, sharing, and learning about responsible Internet use. Unlike traditional kids sites, SafeSurfer puts kids in the driver's seat and acknowledges that they are the experts on how they use the Internet. This valuable information is woven throughout each section of the site, which includes games, video game reviews, news, resources for school research topics and computer use, and security tips. SafeSurfer has been created with the help and feedback with a group of kids that are active computer users and its blog (see the 2¢ blog below) and game reviews have been written by real, live youth computer aficionado, Zac Broitman.
